Whats the use case for this distro? If I want a lightweight dtop i can use lubuntu or MATE, why is this better?

From what I understand (I just learned of Maui/Hawaii a week ago) Maui is a distro build around the hawaii desktop, which was started from scratch in order to create a desktop purely in Qt and Wayland. Wayland is lighter weight than xserver (it just handles compositing and window managing rather than everything) and has a better arrange protocol (less context switching). Then, instead of trying to make a single GUI that kind of works just ok for both keyboard/mouse and touch, like Gnome3 or Unity have done, Hawaii wants to use Qt’s QML to allow the desktop and apps to easily adjusted to suit the device they are being used on.
